Hillcroft Conservation Grazing

Cattle data sheet

Name: Hucklesbrook

Huckle

Description: Black points, with a white left hind foot. Rather hunched appearance. Son of Heidi. Named after a place in the Avon valley near where he was born, which echoes his sire's name, Huckleberry Finn. He was very weak when he was born, and needed help with feeding for a few days. He grew into a friendly beast, but he always had poor sight and coordination, and never grew much. He was often getting into scrapes, and unfortunately in 2005 he fell in the river once too often and drowned.

Ear tag number: 700009

2002 - 2005

Breed: British White

Type: Steer
