Name: Thorncroft Gillyflower

Description: Black points and very large round belly (even when not in calf). Many small greyish spots on shoulders. Two of her calves were born early: Goosander (37 weeks) and Goldeneye (35 weeks) -- as in humans, cattle pregnancy is normally 40 weeks. Twice, Gilly has successfully fostered calves whose own mothers did not have enough milk, and she has also been our house-cow.
